How to Work a Crowd – Secrets of Successful Networking

When: April 23, 7pm
Where: Johns Hopkins University Center, 1625 Massachusetts Ave, NW Washington, D.C.

Ardell Fleeson, Tower Club Membership Director, called by the Washington Post “the business matchmaker” with a “golden rolodex” will conduct an interactive workshop on business networking. How do you know whom you’re looking for and how do you make the most of a networking event? How do you make networking a part of your overall marketing plan? Learn the secrets of super-effective networking from the “Queen of Schmooze” (and start using them in the second half of the evening)!

Ardell Fleeson was included in the first FORWARD FORTY from Washington Business Forward magazine. Virginia Business Magazine did a cameo on her as Northern Virginia’s Queen of Schmooze. Potomac Tech Journal called her “an incredibly knowledgeable matchmaker.” Her most recent public accolade was in the Washington Post’s “The Download” column, where Shannon Henry called her “the business matchmaker” with the “golden rolodex.” Shannon included Ardell’s comments in her industry predictions column for 2003.

This event is generously sponsored by the Training Institute of Washington, D.C. Please stay tuned for the venue announcement.
